What's Your Question About?

Tox Injections

What is a Tox Injection?

Tox Injections utilize Botulinum Toxins, which is where we get the "tox" from. We offer a range of Tox products to cater to any clients' needs.

What is Botox? What is Jeuveau? What is Xeomin? How are they different?

Botox is a specific brand of Botulinum Toxin. Botox, Jeuveau, and Xeomin are all used to treat and prevent wrinkles, fine lines, and deep facial furrows. By working beneath the surface, these Tox's will help reduce the underlying muscle activity that causes the skin to appear wrinkled or folded.

How much does a Tox Injection cost?

All of our Tox's cost $12/unit. Treatments are usually between 35-60 units.

When will I see results?

Results are visible within 24-48 hours.

How long do results last?

Results from Tox Injections are not permanent. Effects usually last about 3-4 months

.

How many treatments will I need?

Any of our Tox products will only need one single treatment to show results. However, results last about 3-4 months, therefore treatments can continue upon this timeline for as long as the patient desires.

Will I need time to recover?

Bruising is possible, plan 2 weeks ahead of any events/vacations.

Tox Injection Post-Care:

1.    For the Botulinum Toxin to settle in specific muscles, it is important to NOT touch the injection sites, so that the Tox can stay exactly where your injector wants it.

2.    Try to keep upright for four to six hours after the injections.  This is very important to minimize the toxin from migrating to unwanted areas.  Avoid lying down or leaning forward.

3.    Other activities to avoid in the first four to six hours include:

          - No exercise
          - No wearing hats
          - No air travel on the first day of treatment
          - No hair washing or blow-drying
          - Do not touch/massage injected area
          - No showers

4.    Optimal results are in 14 days.  Wait at least 12 days after your injections to start
to evaluate the success of the treatment.

Dermal Filler

What is Filler?
The facial fillers used at FRSH Aesthetics and Wellness are made from hyaluronic acid. The use of fillers are known to eliminate wrinkles, plump and hydrate lips, replace volume loss, improve scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face. As we age, our skin becomes more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines, especially due to sun damage and muscle movement. Facial fillers provide a solution to such damage through facial injections.

How much does Filler cost?
Because everyone’s needs are different, and with such a wide variety of treatments involving filler, a personal consultation is the best way to establish cost. With that in mind, filler treatments start at $400. This cost not only reflects the price of the product, but also the skill, knowledge and expertise of the medical injector. We do not price match.

When will I see results?
Results are visible immediately after treatment. The healing process then begins which involves swelling for about 3-7 days depending on the amount injected, area injected, and how your body reacts to the procedure. The product then settles and you’ll enjoy your final results about 2-3 weeks after injections. Please give yourself a minimum of 2 weeks before any events or vacations in case of residual bruising and swelling.

How long do results last?
FRSH Aesthetics and Wellness filler treatments differs from person to person and from treatment to treatment. Because the product is being injected into the body, some bodies may metabolize the product faster than others. See below for average FRSH Aesthetics and Wellness based on treatment:

Cheek Filler: 9-18 months
Lip Filler: 6-12 months

How many treatments will I need?
Facial fillers are a temporary solution, and therefore to maintain results, treatments will need to be administered on a recurring basis (see FRSH Aesthetics and Wellness info above).

Will I need time to recover?
Bruising is possible, plan 2 weeks ahead of any events/vacations.

Dermal Filler Post-Care:

1.    Minimize exposure to the sun, UV lamps and heat for 24 hours or until initial  swelling and redness has resolved.

2.    Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours to minimize bruising.

3.    Avoid makeup applications to the area.

4.    Apply an ice pack to area to minimize swelling.

5.    Contact the office with any questions or concerns.

Microneedling (PRP)

What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?

Platelet Rich Plasma, or “Liquid Gold” as we like to call it, is the perfect solution to stimulate cell growth within the body. The patient’s blood is drawn, processed, and then used for treatment. The amazing benefits of PRP can be used to stimulate hair growth, diminish the appearance of scarring, encourage the body’s production of collagen, and much more.

How does PRP work?

Plasma is a component of our blood and contains proteins which help the blood to clot and support cell growth. Platelets are found within the blood and are responsible for recognizing and repairing damaged cells by forming a plug, or clot. PRP Treatments use the body’s own healing processes to rejuvenate the skin and promote new cell growth.

During treatment, a member of our experienced and trained staff will draw blood from your arm. The small vial of blood will be placed and spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the plasma. This process concentrates the platelet count to about 4x the normal amount. The platelet rich plasma is then applied topically or injected into the skin for treatment. PRP has been shown to help fade darkness under eyes, provide natural facial volume restoration, and even help with hair loss when injected in to the scalp.

How much does a PRP Treatment cost?

PRP Treatments vary on price. However, to achieve optimal results, you will need a series of 3-4 treatments. See our PRP page for more info.

When will I see results?

Noticeable results are visible within 4-9 months.

How long do results lasts?

Results from PRP/PRF Treatments are expected to be long-lasting, though results may vary from person to person.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments varies from person to person, but on average, we recommend 3-4 treatment sessions separated by 4-6 weeks then 1-2 treatments per year for maintenance.

Will I need time to recover?

For microneedling with PRP, recovery lasts from 1-2 days with reddened skin, no peeling.
